Ribbon fun, part 1

welcome-sign

I’m really fond of playing with IMAGINE Crafts’ SHEET Metal and StazOn Inks. For this project, I inked 1.25″ circle SHEET Metal pieces with StazOn in Sunflower Yellow, then (after applying a layer of GlazOn to seal) I alternated stamping the letters with StazOn in Fuchsia Pink and Royal Purple. I took two pieces of yellow ribbon and tied them to the end letters only, to keep the sign from becoming too busy. Then, I glued the metal shapes to a piece of harlequin-esque ribbon.

As is, you can use the sign in a scrapbook layout. If you want to hang it, first mount it to a sturdy backing such as foam. It would also make an inviting refrigerator magnet — just adhere magnets to the back.
