IMAGINE Crafts & Stampendous: Celebrate Neon Blog Hop

Stampendous and Imagine Crafts Header

Welcome to a week of fantastic collaboration between IMAGINE Crafts and Stampendous! We have to admit that our two companies were made for each other and we’re proud to have shared a long relationship of working together. After all, what are stamps with out ink? The projects created by our artists this week feature IMAGINE Crafts Radiant Neon™ inks paired perfectly with coordinating colors of Fran•táge Color Fragments from Stampendous, along with some of their newest stamp designs and Stack Art kits.

STM Imagine Crafts Prize Package

You can win 3 of the brand new Radiant Neon™ ink pads and 3 jars of our Color Fragments! We’ll give away three prize packages (color is our choice) to U.S. Mailing addresses. You have until the end of Sunday, May 25 to comment on as many of the Design Team Blog Posts from this week as possible. Monday we’ll draw three random blog posts and one comment from each of those posts will win a prize package!

***Blog Hop Hint – if you click on a link that takes you to a page saying something like, “Sorry this page cannot be found,” just click on the header at the top of the blog (usually a picture, or the blog’s name), and it will take you to that blog’s most recent post. That post *should* be our hop. If not, you can probably scroll down a short way to find the hop post. You can check out the Official Rules for all our contests if you have questions.

If you missed any of the previous days of the Hop, select one of these links to take a look at the artists and the projects that they created: MONDAY May 19th, TUESDAY May 20th, and Wednesday May 21st.

So here’s my project:

IMG_0273

First, I stamped the coffee stamp twice, once in black ink and a second time in a combination of Radiant Neons.  I cut out the black coffee cup and the inner “coffee” part of the Neon stamped image, then adhered the Neon “coffee” to the black stamped image.

I inked the background stamp in Neons, then stamped on the patterned paper twice. I stamped once more in Tuxedo black. Then I adhered all the elements.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies:

  • Inks: Radiant Neon in Electric Orange, Pink, and Coral; Memento Dye Ink in Tuxedo Black (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko)
  • Stamps: Friends Cup, Mixed Media Cling Rubber Brush Strokes (Stampendous!)
  • Patterned paper: Canvas Corp
  • Rhinestones: Bella! Bling
  • Manilla card and extra cardstock

Ice Cream Scoops

IMG_0264[1]

There’s something about food stamps I just adore. For a card for my aunt’s birthday — she has a sweet tooth like me — I decided to use my new ice cream cone and scoop stamps, along with my new set of Spectrum Noir markers and colored pencils.

First, I stamped the cone and scoops in Memento ink. I colored the cone and two of the scoops in markers and the third scoop in pencil. I stamped the sentiment a few times in Memento Luxe and Radiant Neon inks, then cut them out.  I adhered the cone and ice cream pieces and the center sentiment with dimensional foam and used regular adhesive for the other pieces, including the ribbon. Easy and delicious-looking, with the additional benefit of being calorie-free.

Supplies:

  • Inks from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko: Memento Dye Ink in Peanut Brittle; Memento Luxe Inks in Pistachio and Rich Cocoa; Radiant Neon Ink in Electric Pink
  • Markers and colored pencil: Spectrum Noir
  • Stamps: Viva Las Vegas! and Avery Elle (sentiment)
  • Paper: Amy Tangerine/American Crafts
  • Ribbon: May Arts

IMG_0261[1]Here’s my project!

With Mother’s Day coming up, I thought I’d make a couple of embellishments for my sister featuring picture of my favorite kids: my nieces and nephew.

I started by covering each embellishment in Stazon Opaque Cotton White. After the ink dried, I applied a layer of Glazon layer protectant, then added additional colors and stamped images. For the heart, I also added Stampendous Pearlized Mica Fragments. Glue the photos, layer the elements, and pour on the ICE Resin. Surprisingly easy for the results you get!

Supplies:

  • IMAGINE Crafts: Stazon Solvent Inks in Opaque Cotton White, Fuchsia Pink, Orange Zest, Emerald City, Blue Hawaii; Brilliance Ink in Starlight Silver; Glazon Layer Protectant; InkBlushers
  • Stampendous: Stack Art Kraftboard (Regal Bird, Angel Wings); Stamps; Pearlized Mica Fragments
  • ICE Resin

Thanks for stopping by!
